A Michelin starred country pub and restaurant with five riverfront rooms, welcoming locals, travellers, children and dogs. Guy and Brittany Manning have been running the pub for 12 years. Set within an old 16th Century coaching house, The Kings Head has been lovingly restored by owners Shaun and Patricia Wylie – who bought the pub in 2017 – to be a contemporary yet cosy pub. Boasting a one acre garden, sunny orangery, function room, and 4*AA bedrooms, the 2AA Rosette Gastro is enjoyed by a variety of visitors. Its wonderful restaurant and bar, led by Roux Scholar and Great British Chef Matthew Tomkinson, is on The Times 40 Best UK 2019 summer pubs list and in the Good Food Guide. Beatons is a traditional tearoom with a contemporary and bright atmosphere, located in the centre of Tisbury. The passion is great table service. The Peppermill is an AA 5-star restaurant and wine bar with rooms situated in the heart of the market town of Devizes. The restaurant offers an interesting contemporary British menu, always using fresh, seasonal ingredients, locally sourced, wherever possible. The restaurant has also been awarded two rosettes by the AA. Wine lovers are well catered for with over 100 wines, 100 cocktails and a range of draught and bottled beers. Landlor ds, Philip and Amanda O’Shea have created a relaxing atmosphere throughout. The menu includes burgers – including slow roasted pulled brisket, Applewood smoked cheese and streaky bacon, and a range of steaks – all of which are dry aged for a minimum 28 days and cooked on a flaming grill, with a choice of sauces, from £18-28.
