Howard's House Hotel is a true gem, situated in the village of Teffont in South Wiltshire’s Nadder Valley. If you haven’t yet discovered the Hotel, it is the ideal place for a peaceful, relaxing lunch, supper or dining treat.

I have known this hotel for more than 30 years, and have enjoyed many suppers there, but I feel there is a fresh exciting buzz about the place. Perhaps it has come from the arrival of chef, Andy Britton and his pure passion for the food he sources and the dishes he creates by incorporating what is available on the door step and the surrounding countryside. He is passionate about the food they grow. It is no coincidence that the vegetable garden has doubled in size since his arrival and that hens have been introduced to the garden. There is nothing quite like eating an egg from a hen you have seen wandering freely around a paddock.

The hotel offers a variety of dining experiences, including the chance to head out into the countryside on the horseshoe track behind the hotel for a day of foraging, this month they are planning an afternoon tea to celebrate Father's Day
