Julia’s House children’s hospice provides free and regular specialist support for the growing number of local families, who are caring for a very seriously ill child with a life-limiting or life-shortening condition.

A summer of sublime music at Salisbury Cathedral

The Southern Cathedrals Festival (Friday 15 - Sunday 17 July) begins a summer of sublime music at Salisbury Cathedral with music by Vaughan Williams, César Franck, Haydn and Bach. A concert by organist, composer and TV presenter Anna Lapwood follows on Saturday 23 July. In August, the popular Organ Prom returns, a not-to-be-missed event performed by the Cathedral’s ‘home team’ of organists, Director of Music David Halls, Assistant Director of Music John Challenger and Assistant Organist Samuel Bristow.
