On Saturday 1st June, at the Salzburg, Salisbury Playhouse, Dr Rebecca Johnson, long-time feminist peace campaigner, writer and founding co-chair of ICAN, talks about her extraordinary career, as part of OUR FRAGILE HOME: FESTIVAL OF IDEAS.

With photos, songs and extracts from films such as the acclaimed documentary film Carry Greenham Home, Rebecca will reflect on the five years she spent opposing Cruise missile deployments at Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp, and how her work with diplomats to ban nuclear testing and reduce nuclear threats around the world contributed to the formation of ICAN, the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, and the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017.
