Imber village open days have been announced for Easter 2019
The village of Imber was evacuated in 1943 and is still deserted to this day. It was evacuated in November to aid the training of American soldiers for the D-Days landing. The church will be open from the 19th April to 22nd April 11-4. The church will be open from Good Friday 19th through to Easter Monday 22nd April inclusive. 1100 hours to 1600 hours daily. There is to be an Easter Egg Hunt in the form of a simple quiz on Easter Day. Details of a concert on Easter Monday at 1800 hours are in the process of being finalised.
